Speakers & Programs

We strive to offer a balanced program of educational sessions that will provide human resources professionals with the opportunity to network with peers, enhance their professional skills, and gain insight into the latest HR issues and trends.  We look for contributors who are willing to donate their expertise without expectation of payment in the spirit of education and networking, a purpose for which LAHRA was founded.

Programs are generally offered monthly about 10 times per year, either virtually or as an in-person luncheon in Brighton, MI.  Volunteer speaker programs are generally 50-55 minutes, the content of which must be eligible for continuing education credits through SHRM and HRCI. Presenters are expected to honor our commitment to provide education by not showcasing or promoting the speaker’s practice, services or products.
