Putting members of LAHRA in the spotlight!
Nicole Trierweiler is the Business Systems Manager for ARMOR Protective Packaging. Her responsibilities include Human Resources, Information Technology, Customer Care and oversees Accounting. Nicole has been with ARMOR for 14 years. When she started, ARMOR employed 12 people. Currently, they are a team of 43!
She joined LAHRA a few years ago in order to stay fresh in the world of HR. Along the way, she has met many LAHRA members that have become friends and great sounding boards for issues! About a year ago, Nicole started the Breakfast Club, which met locally, once a month, as a way for other HR professionals to discuss current issues and bounce ideas off each other.
Nicole lives in Howell with her husband and four children and enjoys spending time with them and friends. She loves to garden. It’s a great stress-reliever!
Lyn Hewitt is the Human Resources Manager at Clark Construction Company and is a Past President of LAHRA.
Serving as the Center for Independent Living Board Vice-Chair, Lyn Hewitt, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has been involved with the Ann Arbor CIL as a volunteer since 2009. Her career experience includes work in the Construction, Architectural Services, Insurance, and Automotive industries. Lyn has also maintained leadership roles in several other non-profit organizations. She currently holds a Master of Business Administration/HR from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Administration with Construction Management focus from Lawrence Technological University.
In addition, Lyn also has an Associate of Science in Architecture which is how she originally got her start in the construction industry.
For fun, Lyn’s hobbies include boating and travel and she enjoys Sushi!
Sandra Neuman, SHRM-SCP, has over 20 years of progressive human resources and leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. She is skilled in a variety of human resource functions including employee relations, recruiting, training, benefits, payroll and compensation planning. She is currently the Human Resources Manager with Flexible Metal in Hamburg where she has been since June 2017. Sandra gained her experience in corporate human resources, public and private consulting, as well as five years as co-owner of a small niche marketing firm in Lansing.
She is a graduate of Alma College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics. Sandra is also a married mom of two teenagers and loves to escape into a good book on her commute and whenever time allows.
