2018 Member Spotlight
Putting members of LAHRA in the spotlight!
Mike Kestly devotes his time to his business, training, speaking, and pontoon boating friends and family.
He started his business (Kestly Development) in 2000 which is an Organizational Development and Human Resource information, assessment and training company. We train companies to use pre-employment assessments to hire for reliability-integrity-work ethic, and help hiring managers put the best person the opening. Using a scientific Job Match assessment like PXT Select, we help increase retention of key people, increase sales, plan for succession, increase engagement, improve customer service, and help managers develop their skills to “coach” their employees. Kestly Development is also an “Authorized Partner” with Wiley & Sons for PXT Select, Everything DiSC, and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team which means we are facilitators for half or full day team-building sessions. We can also certify your people for train the trainers.

Czarnowski is an exhibit and event marketing company. Brandi has been with Czarnowski for over a year and in her generalist role, she gets to connect with a variety of people and cover all things HR at the four different branches throughout the U.S. she is responsible for.
Her favorite aspects of the job are the people connections and getting to share information and resources to better support the different offices as a business partner. In Brandi’s spare time she enjoys decorating her new home she and her husband built within the last couple of years.
She is happy to be a part of LAHRA as she lives in Livingston County and wanted to be able to stay current on legislation as well as other local employers best practices.
These companies serve as the employer of record to professionals in the fields of education, daycare, and autism. She has worked for CS Partners for almost 20 years, working with her Partners to build the company from 60 employees to 2000 at over 30 locations. She loves her team and the dedicated professionals she works with daily. She loves working for a fast past, growing company that puts employees first.
Carlie and her husband Chad have four sons and live in the Hartland area. She joined LAHRA as a way to get local training on relevant issues and network with professionals in the HR field close to work.
